An interresting thought

Now, I realize that with the cheap pieces of crap that come from China these days and time restraints that this isn't always possible, but doing for yourself has its merrits and gives a feeling of pride.

I saw this on a website a while back, but I saw it today in the folder and it got me to thinking after talking to a bunch of people in my family.

The Wife just figured out how to make laundry soap. Costs us about fifty cents for a 5-gallon bucket. So that's good.

Care to share that formula Ted?

The borax and soap were easy to find. Washing soda is rarer than a Georgia virgin, until you realize that it's chemically identical to the Soda Ash sold in pool supply stores.

Be advised that we have NOT tested this formula on actual clothes. I plan on posting more when I have those details. Your mileage may vary.

I have a bunch of clothes that are almost out the door to become rags. Do you want me to send them to you?
